These hinges are nice and big. hold bigger cabinet doors nicely. I have 1/4″ overlay doors, meaning door only overlap the frame of the cabinet 1/4″ in all side, can’t make any mistake. Here is what I did to install them correctly (Mostly). Installed the hinges on the door about 3/8″ away from the border with all 4 screws. On the frame I made the hole about 3/8″ from the edge. This will keep a gap between frame and the door. the top and the bottom made an eye estimate to make it centered properly. This method work mostly for me, few of my 8 cabinets weren’t square, so I had to modify. BTW the little rod side of the hinge goes towards the door. The hinges are triangular the longer side of the triangle goes on the door side. I can only put two screws on the cabinet but my plan is to cut some wood pieces and screw then on the back of the frame and put all four screws. Hinges comes with enough wood screws, I only manage to break the head of one screw. Hope this helps and good luck.

Great

I used them to hold up a very heavy ottoman lid. They did a great job and are very heavy duty.

Worked, they have pretty strong springs in them.
