I keep finding uses for these. They mainly are screwed to my garage rafters to hold up a canoe hoist. Combined with snap links (carabiners) and small pulleys, these “just work”.My only complaint is my standard practice of throwing out the supplied phillips head screws and using Robertson head screws instead.

Very strong

These seem like very well made anchor points for the turnbuckles that I installed for my shade sails. I like that they only use two screws per hook ring rather than four, which seems like overkill for such small anchor points. The included screws are quite small, which makes me a bit worried that perhaps the hook ring isn’t designed to take a lot of tension. I ended up using #10 2/12″ stainless steel deck screws to anchor my hook rings to my pergola (I needed a long screw because it had to first pass through 3/4″ of Azek trim board that is on top of pressure treated 3×12 lumber). The #10 screws worked nicely, but the heads don’t sit flush into the hook ring holes because the #10 head is a bit large. That said, I prefer a thick screw that I think will be stronger than using a #8 screw of the same length. We had a decent amount of wind the day after I put up our shade sails and the hook rings held up fine. So far, so good.

I put these in a 3×3 8ft grid on the wall. I use them as anchors for my workout bands and can do almost any exercise you can do in the gym.

the brackets were something I could install

EXCELLENT quality and a lot cheaper then anything I’d get in a hardware store. I used the to suspend steel cable over my pool deck to screen it in and they are perfect.
